Career Hours Workshops

Graduate Careers Program - Subject No 300-627

Career Hours” are interactive career development workshops which explore different career issues every session. We strongly encourage you to attend these sessions to learn new skills and knowledge, engage with others, and develop a sense of your career.
In 2008 for the first time the Career Hours are offered as a not-for-credit subject called “Graduate Careers Program” under subject no 300-627. The subject is offered twice a year in both Semester 1 and Semester 2.
If you attend at 9 out of 11 sessions during one semester, the Graduate Careers Program will appear on your academic transcript, which is likely to be considered favourably by employers and recruiters.  Alternatively you can just attend the sessions of your choice, however this will not appear on your academic transcript.
Career Hours are run weekly through the teaching periods of the year, and are facilitated by the Graduate Careers Centre Team or by invited experts.
Attendance is free, however places are limited by the capacity of the lecture theatres.
