Career Mentoring Program
What is it?
The Career Mentoring Program is coordinated by the Graduate Careers Centre in the Melbourne Graduate School of Management.
The program matches selected undergraduate students from the Faculty of Economics and Commerce with industry mentors who assist them in identifying career goals and professional development plans. A career mentor is able to provide students with information on industries, professions, and general work skills as well as advice and support with career direction, networking, skills assessment, job hunting and applications.
The program runs from March until November. Applications for 2010 will be open in March 2010.
Who can get involved?
The program is particularly relevant for students in their penultimate or final year and preference will be given to students from these groups. Students in Honours programs are also encouraged to apply.

How can I get involved?
Participation is based on a competitive online selection process. Applicants are required to attend an information session prior to submitting an application.
