Work Experience, Internships and Career Mentoring
Commerce students are encouraged to obtain work experience through vacation work and internships. The University's Careers and Employment Service supports students with resources, assistance and advice. Students can seek help with resume writing, interview skills and career planning.
Career Mentoring
Career Mentoring for 2009 has closed. This unique and exciting program matches selected students from the Faculty of Economics and Commerce with industry mentors who assist them in identifying career goals and professional development plans. The Career Mentoring Program is managed by the Graduate Careers Centre in the Melbourne GSM. Students must attend an information session for their application to be considered. Watch this space for information about the 2010 Career Mentoring Program. Applications for the 2010 program will be open in March 2010.
