Accreditation

Australian universities have a unique system of accreditation providing a rigorous framework of quality assurance. Four fundamental pillars uphold the quality system: the Legislative Act; Australian Qualifications Framework; Australian Universities Quality Assurance Agency; and the Educational Services for Overseas Students Act. The University of Melbourne is accredited through its conformity to standards set by these legal and quality frameworks.
