Research Higher Degrees
The Faculty of Economics and Commerce has a vibrant community of research students with 165 candidates currently studying for PhD or Masters degrees.
PhDs are available across all disciplines taught in the Faculty and most programs feature a coursework component. Individual PhD programs are as follows:
- accounting
- actuarial studies
- economics
- finance
- management and marketing.
The Melbourne School of Graduate Research has an important role within the University’s research environment, offering a range of enrichment activities and support mechanisms that contribute to the success of our PhD candidates and consequently, to the research reputation of the University.
