Re-enrolment and Subject Selection

Re-enrolment 2010

All continuing Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce double degree students are required to re-enrol for 2010. Please observe the following dates for re-enrolment:

Timely Re-enrolment - Monday 26 October - 5pm Friday 20 November
If you complete your re-enrolment during this period your place for 2010 will be secure.

Late Re-enrolment - Monday 25 November - 5pm Friday 4 December
If you complete your re-enrolment during this period, you will secure your place for 2010 but will incur a $250 Late Re-enrolment Fee.

Failure to re-enrol - Saturday 5 December
If you have not re-enrolled by this date, the University will assume that you are not returning to study in 2010 and will cancel your enrolment.

Re-enrolment process

To complete your re-enrolment including subject selection, log on to the Student Portal.

Step 1: Indicate interest in membership of Student Union, MU Sport, etc.

Step 2: Accept Re-enrolment Terms & Conditions.

Step 3: Select subjects for all of 2010 (Semester 1 and Semester 2). You may also select subjects for Summer Semester (optional).

You will receive a receipt number for each step completed. Please retain your receipts as you may be required to produce them at a later date.

Deadlines for withdrawal of Semester 2 2009 subjects

STANDARD SEMESTER 2 SUBJECTS
Last date to add subjects in Semester 2: Friday 7 August
Last date to delete subjects, take leave of absence or discontinue in Semester 2, without incurring:
  • a Withdrawn comment on your academic record and a HECS/FEE-HELP/Fees liability
Monday 31 August
  • a Fail grade on your academic record
Friday 9 October

 

For the last date to delete Winter intensive subjects and subjects taught intensively during the semester without incurring a Withdrawn comment on your academic record and a HECS/FEE-HELP/Fees liability, or a Fail grade, please refer to the census date as listed on your enrolment record. You can also check subject census dates via the subject fee calculator on the Student Administration website.

Fees

Changes to the number of points in which you are enrolled overall will affect your HECS/CSPs/FEE liability and may affect the amount of Amenities and Services Fees that you owe. If you are concerned about whether you have fees owing then you can check your outstanding fees online at https://sis.unimelb.edu.au/cgi-bin/invoice.pl.
